poLANd.tf is an event created with competitive Team Fortress 2 players in mind. The main goal of the event is to provide a platform for the best teams in Europe and beyond to compete, while also bringing the community together and delivering plenty of fun.
Our team consists of a group of friends who have played competitive mode together—or against each other—for years, initially creating an initiative to meet offline. Our events took place annually or semi-annually, and each time attracted a growing audience, to the point where our tournament became recognized as a significant international competition. Today, our tournament is the most anticipated competitive TF2 event in Europe, as it serves as the arena where the best European teams are determined, with aspirations of becoming a global-scale tournament.
The tournament can be watched live on Twitch.
Our team is made up of competitive players, including those competing at the highest level. This means we have a deep understanding of the community we’re organizing our events for. We believe the best way to shape an event’s format and rules is to base them on the opinions of the players who will participate. That’s why we strive to be as transparent as possible in our decision-making, which has earned us the trust of the competitive Team Fortress 2 community.
Our approach to event costs is also transparent. We present approximate organizational expenses, as the event is currently funded through crowdfunding, and we want our supporters to know exactly how their contributions are being used.
